The mission/Vision of ISGKC is to: Live our faith as a congregation, inspired by the teachings of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) as individuals and as a collective body, and to be the anchor of a model community of practicing Muslims of diverse backgrounds, democratically governed, efficiently served, relating to one another with inclusiveness and tolerance, and interacting with neighbors in an Islamic exemplary fashion.

Services Provided
- ISGKC provides services for the Muslim community and the community at-large in the Greater Kansas City metro.
General Services
- Congregational prayers and services for over 600 people.
- Educational programs, both adult and school age children, for women and men.
- Youth Center for youth activities and enrichment.
- Job skill improvement classes.
- Special events such as weddings, funeral services, etc
Social Services
- It provides limited financial assistance. Subsidized schooling for needy children.
