Our Story
Although there are many masajids around Cleveland, Alhamdulillah's, there is always better to have more than less of the houses of Allah (SWT). Out of the need for social services and a peaceful place that the Muslims can learn their religion, pray and interact with each other, we decided to establish ICNEO.
The Islamic Center of Northeast Ohio was established in March 2016 as a non-profit religious organization registered with the State of Ohio. It serves over 1000 Muslims in the Greater Cleveland area. Our community is very diverse and is composed of various ethnicity and backgrounds including people from, but not limited to, Afghanistan, Albania, Bosnia, Egypt, Somalia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Kashmir, Kenya, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Palestine, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and more.
