About Us
Imam Ali Islamic Center is a religious community center established in the summer of 1999. Currently located in Grand Prairie, Texas. The center serves the Muslim community of Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW) metroplex area. The old building was opened in fall of 2000 in order to meet the religious needs of the Muslim community. The new building was officially opened in March of 2011.
Religious programs are conducted in this Center in Arabic and English. The Center provides religious and charitable services to the community of believers by way of congregational prayers, observance of joyous and sorrowful occasions associated with the Prophet (PBUH) and his family, Ahlul-Bait (A.S.), The Friday Prayer and guidance in matters of religious beliefs and actions.
The Center is also a place for the Imam Ali Islamic Saturday School that teaches Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies to students ages 5-15.
